I had an unexpected surprise the day of Christmas-eve, when I received a phone call from the Vyhmeister family. They were urgently looking for a photographer, last-minute, to capture portraits of their family, as many were visiting from other states. I happily accepted the opportunity and was not let down. Their family is tightly knit and was a lot of fun to photograph. They were funny and courteous; much more pleasant than anyone could ask for. Here are a few of my favorites from the photo session. Yesterday I had a portrait session with Amber Clark, a photographer, wife and mother, with a great sense of humor and wonderful outlook on life. She’s so funny that I don’t think there’s an ounce of “serious” in her...except with regards to her serious passion for photography and her family. After having spent years in photography school, she was on her way to New York to jump into the fashion world. However, a turn of events made her change her mind and move to the Northwest.
